For more than 35 years between them, Robert and Christine Fox have wholeheartedly devoted themselves to maintaining sobriety and assisting others in their journey to recovery. Drawing from her extensive background as a Substance Use Counselor in Washington State, Christine possesses the expertise to guide clients through inpatient and outpatient treatment, while Robert fulfills the role of CEO leading the team at Recovery Syndicate, actively engaging with clients on a daily basis. The couple also co-owns Clean and Sober Homes in Chandler, extending a supportive environment for individuals making the transition out of treatment and those seeking housing within the recovery community. In her capacity as CEO of Clean and Sober Homes, Christine focuses on facilitating clients’ journey from treatment to sober living, underscoring the crucial progression in their recovery process. Irrespective of their professional commitments, the Foxes extend their dedication to providing education and support to members of the community in need of assistance. Their steadfast commitment is evident through their daily presence at the clinic and their unwavering accessibility to clients and their families. The message championed by the Foxes is resolute: “It is essential to never renounce individuals grappling with addiction and/or mental health. Medical Director
Dr. Gazda is a highly experienced professional in family practice, psychiatry, and addiction medicine. He specializes in treating a range of mental health disorders using psychodynamic principles and offers therapy supervision alongside pharmacotherapy. With a strong background in clinical trials research, he is proficient in advanced pharmacotherapy and incorporates complementary approaches such as Native American healing, meditation, and yoga. Dr. Gazda’s dedication to holistic care is evident in his personal interests, such as long-distance running, yoga, and travel, making him an asset to our team at Recovery Syndicate.
Nurse Practitioner
Alex Spritzer is a highly qualified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, specializing in addiction medicine. With board certifications in family nurse practitioner and addiction medicine, Alex provides compassionate and personalized care, aiming to treat the whole person and address the underlying causes of their struggles. In addition to addiction medicine, his areas of expertise include primary care, mental health, and trauma care. Notable achievements such as the CARN-AP and PMHNP-BC certifications demonstrate Alex’s commitment to excellence in the field. Outside of work, Alex enjoys music, cooking, and time by the seaside, which inspires his dedication to helping others find their path to healing and well-being. Alex aspires to lead a company that supports a healthier, more vibrant future for all.

Chuck is a highly experienced professional in behavioral health with over 40 years in the field. He is the founder and CEO of Mindfulness Counseling Services since 1995, specializing in Joint Commission Accreditation, program development, and sports psychology. Previously, he held notable roles as the Corporate Clinical Director at Journey Healing Centers and the Program Director at Chandler Valley Hope RTC. Chuck currently offers consultancy services for Major League Baseball, emphasizing sports counseling, in-home detox, and mindfulness meditation. He holds a Master of Science in Education and certifications in sports counseling and meditation, known for his holistic treatment approach and commitment to ethical practices
Clinical Supervisor
Breanna Huh brings extensive experience in addiction counseling, having served in key roles such as Clinical Director, Assistant Clinical Director, and Primary Therapist. She holds a Master’s degree in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, and is both a Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor (LIAC) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
A Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) is a mental health specialist trained in understanding, assessing, and treating trauma. This certification indicates proficiency in trauma-related disorders and effective treatment methods, enhancing the professional’s ability to support individuals affected by trauma.
Breanna’s expertise includes addiction treatment and recovery, with a focus on substance use disorders, treatment modalities, and relapse prevention strategies. She believes in the inherent capacity for change and recovery in every individual and adopts a compassionate, evidence-based, and client-centered approach in her practice. In her personal life, she enjoys spending time with her family and three beloved dogs, as well as traveling and camping to recharge and connect with nature. Her vision is centered around excellence in care, innovation in treatment, and empowering clients to achieve sustainable recovery.

Currently, he is pursuing a BA in Addiction Counseling at Ottawa University, with an expected completion date of April 2024. John’s academic journey has been marked by excellence, as evidenced by his impressive GPA of 3.887. Additionally, he has obtained certifications in Substance Use Disorder Counseling at both Level I and Level II. With three years of experience in the industry, John is dedicated to helping individuals discover the same sense of fulfillment he has found. Daniel has been working in the behavioral health field since 2017. Daniel grew up in Northern California and established himself in the hospitability industry. Daniel moved to Arizona in 2011 and began working for Tesla Solar before shifting career paths after finding recovery and discovering that he wanted to help people recover from a seemingly hopeless disease. Daniel understands that no single approach is the right one for every client and goes to great lengths to ensure that each of our client’s needs are met and that they are being provided the care they need and deserve. Daniel believes that showing compassion and empathy helps create a strong connection with our clients, builds trust, and shows them that Recovery Syndicate is here to help them achieve their goals and live a happy, joyous, and free life.

With over a decade of experience in addiction and mental health care, Alan has excelled in diverse roles across all levels of care, including Detox, RTC, PHP/IOP, and leadership positions such as Director of Admissions, Business Development, and Marketing. Passionate about fostering recovery, Alan specializes in admissions, relationship management, and business development, with a vision to create growth and opportunity for clients. Beyond work, Alan enjoys archery, off-roading, hunting, golf, fishing, and lake adventures. Recovery has been a personal journey since 7/1/17, fueling Alan’s commitment to helping others achieve lasting success.

In addition to her formal education, Dana has over 30 years of personal recovery from addiction and codependency. Her experience spans people from all walks of life, facing unique struggles and situations. Her mission is to help our clients discover and embrace the best version of themselves. Dana’s broad education and intimate familiarity with the struggles of substance abuse recovery have given her a unique perspective to help individuals discover their own capacity for healing.
